- Cut on the true bias from a weighty sandwashed silk, the slip skirt skims rather than clings, and finishes with a fine rolled hem.
- The waistband sits flat under a knit, which is how we wear it most often.

The making of it
Bias, and patience
Bias-cut cloth has to rest. After cutting, each panel hangs in the studio for forty-eight hours so the grain can settle before it is sewn — otherwise the hem drops unevenly weeks later. It is the least visible part of making this skirt and the reason it hangs true.
