Three pieces for the hours after seven — a column dress, a bias skirt and an unstructured blazer. All of them work equally well at eleven in the morning, which is rather the point.
The story
Dressed, not costumed
Evening clothes tend to be designed for a single event and then wait a year for the next one. We wanted the opposite: pieces cut with enough restraint that they can be dressed down without looking like they are apologising.
The dress is a single width of linen. The skirt is silk, but sandwashed and heavy rather than shiny. The blazer has no canvas at the shoulder. Each of them is one adjustment away from a Tuesday.
There is very little detail here, and that is the work. When a garment has nowhere to hide, the pattern has to be right.
