Autumn / Winter
Drafted from garments made for doing things — a workshop coat, a field jacket, a pleated trouser — then reproportioned for a life that mostly involves walking, sitting and carrying.
The story
Workwear patterns, studio proportions
Working garments are honest documents. Every pocket exists because something needed to go in it, every seam is placed where a body actually bends. They are also, almost always, cut too small in the armhole and too long in the sleeve for anyone not doing that particular work.
So we borrow the logic and change the measurements. The Kite keeps the low yoke of a workshop coat and loses the utility. The Terrace keeps the pockets and gains a comfortable armhole.
Nothing here is distressed, faded or otherwise pretending to have a history it has not earned. The cloth will do that on its own.
