Description
- Knitted in a single fine gauge so it sits close without clinging, the Ridge takes its name from the raised rib that travels shoulder to shoulder and holds the neckline flat.
- It is the layer we wear under the Atelier from October, and on its own from April.

The making of it
One gauge, one yarn
There is no seam at the shoulder — the panel is knitted through, which removes the bulk that usually collects under a coat. It took four sampling rounds to get the rib tension right: tight enough to hold, loose enough to pull over the head without stretching.
